How Much Does Dog Boarding Cost in Miami? 2026 Prices and What's Included

Dog boarding in Miami typically costs $55 to $100 a night in 2026, and at Fit & Go Pets it's $55 to $95 a night. Where your stay lands in our range depends on two things: your dog's size and how many nights you book. Every stay at Fit & Go Pets, the place where Miami dogs vacation, includes open group play during the day, a private sleeping suite, splash time in our dog pools, a midday nap and daily photo and video updates. Optional add ons such as transportation, medication or one on one play are priced separately. Our pricing page always shows the current rates.

What do Miami boarding facilities charge?

We review published boarding rates across Miami every year. In our 2026 review of 20 boarding providers, from Brickell and Wynwood to Miami Beach, Coral Gables and Doral, a standard night ran about $55 to $100, and most landed between $70 and $95. A few luxury suites and private in-home options charged $120 to $250 a night.

Prices change during the year and many places add fees for holidays, size or extras, so always confirm the total for your dates. The bigger difference between facilities is usually what the nightly rate includes, which is where the questions further down help.

What decides the nightly rate at Fit & Go Pets?

Your dog's size

We price boarding in four weight groups: up to 20 pounds, 21 to 60, 61 to 80, and 81 pounds and up. Bigger dogs need more space, more food handling and more hands during play, so they sit at the higher end of the range.

How long the stay is

The nightly rate drops as the stay gets longer, with lower rates starting at 8 nights and again at 20 nights or more. A long work trip or a summer away costs less per night than a weekend.

When you travel

During peak season, which includes the major holidays, a small per night charge applies. Holiday suites fill up, so booking early also keeps your choice of dates. Sunday check in and check out are available on request for an added fee, and check out after 2:30 p.m. carries a late check out fee.

How many dogs you bring

Families boarding more than one dog get 15% off the second dog.

What's included in every stay?

We want the price to cover a real day, not just a place to sleep. Every boarding guest gets:

  • A private sleeping suite, a kennel sized to fit your dog, with comfy bedding and safe toys; suites can be combined for families with more than one dog
  • Open group play in our indoor and outdoor play areas, supervised by our team
  • Water play and sunbathing in our dog pools (it's Miami, after all)
  • A snack if needed and a two hour indoor nap at midday
  • Daily personalized photos and videos sent to you
  • Care that follows your dog's own feeding routine

What costs extra?

Some families need a little more, and these are priced as add ons so nobody pays for what they don't use:

  • Transportation: door to door pickup and drop off starting at $30 each way, with longer distances such as Miami Beach, Coconut Grove or Key Biscayne priced by mileage. It runs Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings, not Sundays; on holidays, contact our team for availability.
  • Medication, house food, and puppy or senior care: small daily or per dose fees, starting at $5.
  • Enrichment: one on one play, puzzle toys, filled Kongs and seasonal treats.
  • Spa: send your dog home clean with a bath before check out.

How to compare boarding prices in Miami

Nightly rates are easy to compare, but what you're really buying is how your dog spends the hours you're away. When you call around, ask each place:

  • Where will my dog sleep, and how much of the day is spent out of the kennel playing?
  • How much of the day is supervised play, and how much is rest?
  • Will I get photos or updates, and how often?
  • Are holiday dates, Sunday pickups or late check outs extra?
  • What vaccines and paperwork do you require?

A lower nightly rate that leaves your dog in a run all day, or adds fees at check out, can end up costing more in stress than it saves in dollars.
