Our message on COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
In light of the global pandemic, COVID-19 (coronavirus), here at Fit and Go Pets we continue to take preventative measures to keep our pups, customers and staff healthy. We already maintain high levels of hygiene and follow routine sanitation processes but are going beyond that to ensure upmost protection. The cleaning products we use kill most viruses and bacteria, including the coronavirus. Aside from that, we are:
- Deep cleaning all areas 2x daily
- Thoroughly sanitizing high traffic areas every hour
- Hand washing every hour
If any team member falls ill, we will send him/her home until a diagnosis is obtained and we receive a doctor's note clearing him/her for work.
The good thing is that the coronavirus is believed not to be a threat to pups, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), so it is ok for them to keep coming to daycare, boarding or grooming. Read more about what the American Kennel Club (AKC) reports about it.
