Tropical Storm Warning in Effect
A Tropical Storm Warning means tropical storm-force winds are expected in our area within the next 36 hours. As of Wednesday, Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties are under a tropical storm warning due to the potential impact of Hurricane Helene.
Hurricane Helene: What You Need to Know
- Formation and Strength: Hurricane Helene formed over the northwestern Caribbean Sea on Tuesday and quickly intensified to hurricane status by Wednesday.
- Current Warnings: The storm has prompted both hurricane watches and tropical storm warnings across parts of Florida.
- Projected Path: Helene is forecasted to strengthen further in the Gulf of Mexico and may become a major hurricane before making landfall. Landfall could occur along Florida's Gulf Coast as early as late Thursday.

Important Information for Pet Owners
- Plan Ahead: With the storm approaching, traffic will likely be heavy. Please plan to pick up or drop off your dogs earlier than usual to avoid delays. Also the Transportation schedule may be altered with little notice.
- Hours of Operation: Our Wednesday and Thursday hours remain unchanged for now but may be adjusted based on weather conditions. Stay updated through our notifications.
- Delayed Response Times: Due to increased activity, our response time on chats may be slower than usual. We appreciate your patience.
- Calming Solutions for Anxious Dogs: If your dog has a phobia of rain or storms and you don’t have their medication, we have CBD available for sale. Please let us know if you need this service.
